Hafidh Ibn Hajar Al Asqalani summarised Ibn Mulaqqin’s detailed takhrij “Al-Badr al-Munir” into a third of its size , changed the tartib and added on fawaid from the works of az-Zayla’i and others.

It contains detailed takhrij of the ahadith of ahkam quoted in the various chapters of fiqh, with gradings of each Hadith and discussion on the narrators .
